this video is a small part of play , 

a story of elderly couple in a family run cafe, it is also the story of myriad different characters, and individuals from all walks of life, who pass through the cafe day by day.

Character  -  Uncle Vanya    

Director - Meir Vardi   

Uncle Vanya was written by Anton Chekhov,  

This play is just one part of the whole play.  

Doctor Astrov  character  was played by George Georgiou  Xander, 

Sadly to say, this is the last  acting memory of George left behind after a tragic incident, while we were studying  Master degree in Acting - Directing at University.

An environmental theatre performance with the elements of audience participation, physical theatre and audiovisual material, this performance is based on parallels between the narrative structure of the Egyptian funereal text, the Book of the Dead and the stages / challenge faced on personal journeys in modern society, it was performed in the Petrie museum, London
